Any person thought to be drunk, or exhibiting drunken behaviour may be refused access or ejected from the event. Persons under 14 should be accompanied by a responsible person. A licenced bar at the stadium will be open, however no person under 18 years of age will be permitted access. Please ensure you have suitable ID if you think you may be asked your age to save time trying to talk those that are there to vigorously enforce this law into believing you. They won't!.  |

The Why? Livi Aid is an event being organised at Livingston FC to raise the still much needed funds for the football club to survive. All profits will be aimed towards, in particular, youth development at the club, which has suffered as a result of previous regimes at the club. Whilst there are Directors at the club who are putting money into the club, the fans are also 'shareholders' and have a seat on the club board. It is also being part of a community, and looking at making use of the club to encourage entertainment in the West Lothian area. There are only a handful of venues that support live music in West Lothian, and Livingston FC once did this at their now closed 'night club'. The night club is unlikely to ever open again as a regular place for live music, but, there is a thought that the stadium could host, in future, live events both in the function suites, and with a bit of work and collaboration with the local authority, within the stadium itself. LiviAid 2010 started as a possible outdoor gig, but this year will run indoors. If successful, we will look at the outdoor music fest next year. Please lend your support to this event. |
